Tourism Resource Fund & Small Grants

ITCF envisages a just society that can make the sustainability of both anthropogenic and tourism natural resources work without ultimately overlooking our own internal potentials. We reach out to philanthropists, volunteers project sponsors and cooperate organizations and institutions to help us Fund and Facilitate our agritourism, Utalii na Jamii, Mtoto Faida, WISH and Eco-Tourism, NECCASO special initiatives at the grassroots level going high up the sustainability curve.

It is the support from friends, well-wishers, philanthropists and visitors that keep ITCF going. They are people who love Tourism Resources and are determined to care for them, investing Monetary resources in conserving nature and economically empowering the Youth through their relentless efforts of taking care of those resources through the National Ecotourism Civilian Conservation Action and generation of Responsible Tourism Youth-owned tourism sustainable green ventures. The Programme is implemented and administered by the ITCF Board and all applications and approvals are managed by the ITCF. ITCF provides a combination of grant funding from its philanthropic kitty and debt financing or equity contributions from the Tourism resource Fund (TRF) to facilitate capital investment in the Private Tourism sector by prospective Youth investors.

As we rebuild our sector, we need to be ready to offer tourists a variety of product offerings that showcase country’s unique natural and historical heritage. Through the implementation of the AEPSF and the TRF[Utalii na Jamii], we envision creating a private sector that is inclusive and sustainable, creating a pathway for new entrants to implement innovative businesses that make tourism thrive.
I encourage all enterprises, especially youth and women owned tourism-based businesses, to apply for both initiatives and contribute to transforming tourism sectors and upholding responsible tourism practices. The Foundation’s funding initiatives have enjoyed success in supporting enterprises within the tourism sector. Eligible tourism enterprises are urged to submit fully completed application forms in accordance with the requirements of the AEPSF and TRF Programme. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.
